An Air Ministry model of a RAF Gloster Javelin, dated 1952 with Broad Arrow mark.

This model of a Royal Aifforce Gloster Javelin was supplied by the Air Ministry to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s coronation. Royal Airforce squadrons were presented with such models representing current and preproduction British military aircraft.

The Gloster Javelin was a twin-engined T-tailed delta-wing subsonic night and all-weather interceptor aircraft that served with Britain's Royal Air Force until the late 1960's. The last aircraft built to bear the Gloster name.
