A fine quality class 1 model of a single screw steamboat, with live-steam engine, by Steven's Model Dockyard, 22 Aldgate, London.

Two colour dug out wood hull with gold line, lined deck, lead keel, hatchway, skylight, tiller, rudder, and two rigged masts. Copper boiler, safety valve, pressure gauge by Schäffer & Budenberg, steam cock funnel, double cylinder steal and brass marine screw engine, propeller shaft and three blade propeller.

Stevens's Model Dockyard was established in 1843 in London England by William Stevens.

The introduction of their catalogue states: "Patronized by the Nobility, Gentry, Government Dockyards, H.M. Board of Trade, Private Dockyards, Indian Government, H.M. Office for Crown Colonies, H.M.
